The embassy building from the late 1970s is getting on in years and has to be renovated and its technical facilities have to be adapted to current standards. Located in the southern part of Dublin, the embassy resides in a flat administration building in the style of the time of construction is horizontally structured by all-round window strips in combination with a sheet metal panel facade. The planing of the Berlin architects Casteleyn & Eichhorn has been implemented since may 2019 while the embassy is running. The project monitoring is carried out in collaboration with the architectural practice Meyer und Partner Architekten, Berlin.
